Kim joined the Langley International Student Program in the fall of 2011. She is a recognized leader known for her excellent client service and community relations. She brings years of experience and skills from the Tourism & Hospitality industry – Passenger client services and marketing Rail Travel. She has also worked in Health Care – Human Resources, recruiting, training and diversity initiatives. Kim has developed, facilitated and assisted with many client service projects and teams throughout her career.
In the Education system Kim has been a parent advocate and a member of many school and district-level committees. She has worked as an elementary administrative assistant and prior to her role as an International Homestay Coordinator, she was an International Education assistant.
As a Homestay Coordinator, Kim liaises with agents, parents, International Students, Homestay Families, and School Coordinators. She is able bring her past experience and passion for working with children and youth to this unique International Education Program. Kim places high value and commitment to ensuring a successful Homestay experience for both the student and Homestay Family.
