Danny Lin won first place in the Vancouver Academy of Music’s 2024/25 Young Composers’ Competition. Danny will receive a $2000 scholarship and his piece. “Dawn,” will be performed by the VAM Symphony Orchestra next season at the Orpheum in Vancouver.

Danny also received a Silver Medal from Boston international Composition Competition for his age group. It is judged based on high standards by the Faculty of Berklee College of Music, Boston University and New England Conservatory of Music.
