Langley International Student Program organized an overnight trip to Victoria from April 7th to 9th .
The first stop was Oak Bay Marina, where the students fed harbour seals. Those seals are friendly—and accustomed to having their meals catered to them! So cute!
Later, the group stopped by Fisherman’s Wharf to enjoy some ice cream and Barb’s world famous fish & chips.
This was followed by a spooky ghost tour and a visit to the Royal British Columbia Museum.
The students paused for a group photo in front of the majestic Legislature of British Columbia.
This is a beautiful time of year to visit the Butchart Gardens, where the flowers are in full bloom. It was a great, educational experience for the students, who had an opportunity to learn about B.C.’s history and culture.
The next District trip will be an overnight trip to Rocky Mountain in May. For more information, ask your ISP school coordinator – trip registration deadline is April 29, 2016!
