Happy Chinese New Year! 

The senior Chinese students at Brookswood secondary hosted a lunch with teachers and granted them wishes to celebrate Chinese New Year and to show appreciation for the work they do.

The students asked the teachers for a school related wish, such as changing bulletin board paper in their classroom or organizing book shelves, and then delivered the wishes to the teachers in red envelopes at the end of the lunch.

The teachers have the envelopes until June to have their wish granted – the idea came from the Chinese students who said they do something similar with their teachers in China. 😉
