The Walnut Grove Cross Country team culminated an excellent season with an outstanding performance at the BC Cross Country Championships on Saturday November 1st in Victoria. WGSS was the only school in BC to qualify all four teams for the Provincial Championships – Junior Boys, Junior Girls, Senior Boys and Senior Girls.  All four teams had strong performances on Saturday with the Senior boys finishing 15th and the Senior Girls finishing 4th.  The Junior Girls made the podium with a 3rd place finish and finally, the Junior Boys had the ultimate day, winning the Provincial Championship with a dominating victory! The Jr. Boys team was made up of Paul Buckingham, Joel Harrison, Ford McMahon, Liam Riley, Will Riley, and Jake Robertson.  In addition, Joel Harrison won the individual provincial championship in capturing the Junior Boys race!
