Thirty three ISP students, two homestay coordinators and a teacher went to Grouse Mountain on Friday, December 11.
The ice skating rink was open, and many students were able to enjoy their first skating experience-with a little help from ice skating aids.
After that, the students swapped their ice skates for snowshoes, and headed into the wilderness for some exploring.
Dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory followed, and the students ended their visit to Vancouver at VanDusen Gardens, where the special Christmas illumination was on brilliant display. It was a very active, fun-filled day!
The next District trip will be an overnight trip to Whistler in January. For more information, ask your ISP school coordinator.
