Last week, 16 students and one teacher from Gionkita High School in Hiroshima, Japan visited Langley for five days.

Since November, 2013, Gionkita has been the sister school of D.W. Poppy Secondary.

This was the second group of visitors from Gionkita to visit D.W. Poppy in the last three years.

The visitors had a chance to make new friends in Langley during their stay. It seems like they enjoyed their first experience of a Canadian school! 🙂
