Langley Lads Kellin Deglan, Jordan Lennerton Continue Putting Up Numbers in Baseball Minors

Kellin Deglan is making his hits counts.
The Langley catcher, a first-round pick of the Texas Rangers in 2010, went into Friday hitting .171 (6-for-35) over his last 10 games with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans of the Advanced Single A Carolina League. On the flip side, he had 11 RBIs in those tilts, highlighted by back-to-back-to-back home run days earlier this week.
On the season, the 21-year-old was hitting .222, with six homers and 18 RBIs, through 22 games as of Friday morning.
His Langley compatriot Jordan Lennerton, 27, was on a roll of his own with the Toledo Mud Hens, the Triple A International League feeder team for the Detroit Tigers.
Heading into Friday, the first baseman was batting .381 (16-for-42) over his last 10 games. He had one homer and six RBIs in that span, pushing him to four homers and 15 RBIs, along with a .299 average, through his first 34 games.
